Refund Policy

Last updated: May 2026. Required for Razorpay payment processing.

Advance payment

The advance payment (15% of project total, capped at ₹20,000) is non-refundable once the project kickoff has occurred (discovery call completed and work commenced). If we are unable to start the project after collecting the advance, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.

Balance payment

The balance payment is due on final delivery after client approval. If you are not satisfied with the final delivery, we will make reasonable revisions (one round of revisions is included in all projects) before requesting the balance. The balance payment is not refundable after final approval and delivery.

Project cancellation by client

If you cancel the project after work has begun, you are liable for the cost of work completed up to the point of cancellation. If the advance covers this cost, no additional charge applies. If the completed work exceeds the advance, a pro-rated invoice will be raised.

Project cancellation by Akkala

If we cancel the project for any reason on our side, a full refund of all payments made will be issued within 7 business days.

Milestone payments

Individual milestone payments are non-refundable once the associated deliverable has been approved by the client. In cases of dispute, we will work in good faith to resolve the issue.

How to request a refund

Contact us at hello@akkala.ai or via WhatsApp with your project reference and reason for the refund request. We will respond within 2 business days. Refunds (where applicable) are processed via the original payment method through Razorpay and typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.

GST

All refunds are processed on the base amount. GST paid cannot be refunded by us — please consult your CA for how to handle GST on a refunded transaction.
